"The Mercy of God in His Works," Volumes 1-4

The four volumes of The Mercy of God in His Works were published by the Marian Fathers between 1962 and 1972. The work is described as follows:

The appeal to God's Mercy is interwoven through the whole fabric of the Christian faith. But precisely because it is so familiar, much of its deeper meaning is often overlooked. In this book the author sets out to develop the theme 'the Mercy of the Lord is from eternity unto eternity' (Ps. cii). He shows how all creation is an expression of infinite Mercy, how Mercy is at the foundation of Christ's Passion and man's redemption, and how every moment in the life of the Christian is dependent on, and saturated in, the Divine Mercy. The reader will gain deeper insight into the nature of God's Mercy and will find much food for meditation and prayer.
