Stations of the Cross

Can we pray the Stations of the Cross outside of the Lenten season? On this episode of "Ask a Marian," Fr. Donald Calloway, MIC provides the answer.

The Church marks the Feast of the Exaltation (“Triumph”) of the Holy Cross on Sept. 14. It’s a good reminder to make a Lenten devotion a year-round habit: making the Stations of the Cross.

If all Marian devotion culminates in imitation of Mary, says Br. Jacob, MIC, then we could also say that all imitation of Mary culminates in imitating her standing at the foot of the Cross.

On Good Friday, we unite with Jesus in His Crucifixion.
