March for Life

As we honor the annual March for Life on Jan. 24, consider one woman's transition from pro-abortion activist to pro-life champion, demonstrating the influence of accurate, scientifically-based information, the contagious joy of the pro-life movement, and the power of prayer.

Fr. Chris Alar gives you the schedule for upcoming talks, videos, shows, and events from the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy for the month of January. This way you won't miss anything to help your soul in your spiritual journey!

Marian priests and seminarians joined tens of thousands of pro-life Americans to participate in the 49th annual March for Life, held on Jan. 21 in Washington, DC.

How can you most powerfully assist pro-lifers in the works of mercy? Begin with prayer. Pray generously, ardently, for the end of abortion and contraception. Pray for the souls of the innocent and the guilty. Pray for a “culture of life” to overcome the numbing culture of death.

Think about it — people don’t gather annually en masse, with rallies, talks and music, to celebrate the greatness of abortion access. But pro-lifers do just those things to celebrate the sanctity of every human life. They come from far and wide with banners, loudspeakers, musical instruments, to celebrate the dignity of all life and protest the taking of innocent human life.

Is your heart on fire for the protection of human life? If not, why not?
