Pride

Vanity is an excessive love of one's own excellence or appearance, and considered a form of pride, which is one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Father Jason Lewis, MIC, explains. Then hear Fr. Mark Baron, MIC, in conversation with Fr. Conor Sullivan about seminarian discernment.

Father Chris Alar, MIC, explains why pride is the deadliest of all sins. Then meet Deacon Jeff Willard, port chaplain at the Galveston Seafarer Center in Galveston, Texas, who spreads Christ's hope and healing presence.

Start the new year right! Join Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, as he begins a new series on the 7 Deadly Sins and the corresponding virtues that we can practice to overcome these sins. First up is Pride, the deadliest of all sins, and how only humility can overcome it.

How do we live radically joyful lives and spread that joy to one another? Find out here.

Do you know someone suffering from the distress of an unrepented sin, too proud or too afraid to go to Confession?

By accepting the crown of thorns, Jesus atones for our sinful thoughts

May the blessings begin! The following is the first of an eight-part Advent series on the Beatitudes.
