The National Men’s March to Abolish Abortion and Rally for Personhood on Oct. 15 is a crucial milestone in the history of the pro-life movement, for it brings together men from all walks of life to march in defense of the most sacred gift of human life.

The Church calls on us all to pursue the New Evangelization in order to establish a Culture of Life that will lead to the advent of a Civilization of Love.

How can you most powerfully assist pro-lifers in the works of mercy? Begin with prayer. Pray generously, ardently, for the end of abortion and contraception. Pray for the souls of the innocent and the guilty. Pray for a “culture of life” to overcome the numbing culture of death.

Think about it — people don’t gather annually en masse, with rallies, talks and music, to celebrate the greatness of abortion access. But pro-lifers do just those things to celebrate the sanctity of every human life. They come from far and wide with banners, loudspeakers, musical instruments, to celebrate the dignity of all life and protest the taking of innocent human life.
