Presenting Pennsylvania to Mary

Hi, Hearts Afire.

Since my husband and I hosted the consecration group at our house during Lent 2013, my friend Maureen Lomady and I have taken it to three parishes. I only have a picture from one of them: St. John of the Cross Parish in Roslyn, Pa. (above). That feast was July 16, Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

We have also run the program at St Catherine's in Horsham, Pa. That feast was the Presentation of Mary, Nov. 21.

Finally, we ran the program at Regina Coeli Academy at Our Lady Help of Christians Parish in Abington, Pa., and they consecrated on Dec. 8, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. We are hoping to do more as the word spreads.

God bless you for all you do to spread this powerful devotion!

Congratulations to all those consecrating to Jesus through Mary on this beautiful Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary!

There are many important themes that one could explore on the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, for my part, I want to turn our attention to an often forgotten element, the presence of the Holy Spirit (Mark 1:10).

We celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception on Dec. 8. What's does it mean for Mary to have been immaculately conceived?
